Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell will miss the team’s game against the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 27 due to concussion protocol, the team announced.

Mitchell just played 34 minutes in the team’s win over the New York Knicks on Jan. 26 and it wasn’t clear when he might have sustained the injury.

He struggled shooting the ball in that game, as he went 3-of-15 from the field and 2-of-9 from three-point.

“His first symptoms linking him to a possible concussion occurred this morning after the game against the New York Knicks last night,” team officials said.

Mitchell will continue to be monitored as he progresses through concussion protocol.
