In the New York Knicks’ 91-84 win over the Orlando Magic on Monday afternoon, RJ Barrett scored his second consecutive double-double.
Barrett averages 17 points per game, along with 7.6 boards and 3.4 assists per game. Tom Thibodeau praised him after the victory over Orlando, via SNY: “His attitude’s been great. He’s in a really good place.”
Barrett went 0-for-3 from the perimeter on Monday, but Thibodeau thinks “the shooting will come around”.
“He’s put a lot of extra time into it. He’s in a good rhythm now. He has real good balance. I think the sky is the limit. I think he’s learning, as most young players do, but he can score a bunch of different ways,” Thibodeau said.
