Ben Simmons is getting more and more comfortable in Doc Rivers’ system, as he plays both on and off the ball. The 76ers’ superstar claimed that he enjoys doing different things in different places of the court this season.

Simmons finished the 108-125 victory over the Miami Heat with his second triple-double of the season registering 10 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.

In the post-game media session on Thursday, Simmons claimed he is able to use his high basketball IQ in various different ways.

“I’m able to be everywhere,” said Simmons. “I can contribute all over the floor. Whether I’m on the ball or off the ball. I feel like my IQ is pretty high when it comes to playing the game and just making plays and decision making.”

“I enjoy it,” Simmons continued. “I enjoy being in different positions on the floor with the ball, without the ball. As long as we’re winning.”

The point forward’s aggressiveness fell a bit in the offensive end as Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Seth Curry, and Shake Milton carried most of the point-production load so far.

Simmons is scoring a career-low 12.4 points on 9.2 attempts per game having also averages of 8.6 rebounds and 7.9 assists per contest.
