The Denver Nuggets earned their sixth win of the season against the Golden State Warriors (114-104) behind a triple-double by Nikola Jokic. It was his fifth triple-double this season. The Serbian center finished the game with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

It was a big test for Golden State’s rookie James Wiseman, who had to face Jokic. The Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr admitted after the game that he gave an advice to Wiseman to not bit on pumpfakes but it’s easier said than done.

“Jokic is one of the best centers in the league. The main message for James (Wiseman) is don’t bite on the pumpfakes. Very easy for me to tell him that. It’s very difficult for him to absorb that. More than likely, he’ll learn some hard lessons tonight,” Kerr said per Drew Shiller.

Joker is also averaging a triple-double of 24.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 10.4 assists during twelve games this season.
