Anthony Davis did not hold back after the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. The Lakers’ superstar criticized his team for its defensive effort.
“We gotta be better with our defensive schemes coming out the gate. … We didn’t play any defense. Our defense was sh*t tonight,” Davis said.
Davis had a double-double on Thursday night with 23 points and 10 rebounds, but that was not enough for the Lakers, that conceded their third loss of the season.
The Lakers could not put LaMarcus Aldridge under wrap as he went off to score 28 points in three quarters, while Dejounte Murray and Rudy Gay took over in the fourth to lead the Spurs in scoring.
