The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back after the opening night’s loss to the Clippers by crushing the Dallas Mavericks 138-115. After the game Kyle Kuzma, who had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes of play, talked about what helped his team take the win.
The 25-year-old forward pointed at the Lakers forcing the Mavs into taking tough shots, which led to the reigning NBA champions crushing the boards. Los Angeles outrebounded Dallas 53 to 27.
“We’re deep team. We have five or six guys that on any given night can give you twenty,” Kuzma said when talking about the Lakers’ depth.
