NBA legend Charles Barkley made a bold prediction that the Portland Trail Blazers will win the Western Conference and will proceed to the NBA Finals.
To back his prediction, Barkley is betting $100,000 on the Blazers. “This is my first bet. I want a hundred thousand dollars on the Portland Trail Blazers to win the West. Get that done tomorrow. Hundred thousand dollars to make it to the Finals,” Chuck said on Inside the NBA.
Last season, Portland qualified for the playoffs as the eighth best team in the West. They went out in the first round against the eventual champions the Los Angeles Lakers.
