In his recent appearance on All The Smoke podcast hosted by former NBA players Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, the Los Angeles Clippers star forward Paul George reflected on his time with the Indiana Pacers and discussed the end of his tenure, including saying the front office wouldn’t go after big man Anthony Davis despite knowing Davis wanted to be in Indy.
Last season, George averaged 21.5 points on a career-high 41.2% shooting, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in the regular season. He averaged 18.5 points on 34.7% in the Clippers’ first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks and attributed that partly to struggles with mental health.
