The Washington Wizards are expected to be among the teams to fight for a place in the postseason, with Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook leading them.

Beal, who is the oldest member of the Wizards’ squad, started to delve in his dual role as a star player and a leader of the team.

In a video posted by the Wizards, Beal offers advice to rookie Deni Avdija. The Israeli forward was the 9th pick of the 2020 NBA Draft, and he is entering his rookie year with high expectations.

Beal told Avdija to embrace the good, the bad and the mediocre nights he will have on a long NBA season. Avdija came from overseas being one of the best talents in Europe last season.

Now, with stars like Beal and Westbrook by his side, the skillful swingman could be able to reach to new-highs as an NBA player.
