The Los Angeles Lakers have their superstars secured. This week, LeBron James signed a two-year, $85 million max contract extension and Anthony Davis a five-year deal worth up to $190 million.

With the exception of one title, all other Laker championships have come in groups with no more than two years apart at a time. James and Davis got their first one together a couple of months ago.

Veteran sports media personality Chris Broussard joined award-winning journalist, TV host, and author Skip Bayless and the three-time Super Bowl Champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe to discuss why he doesn’t think LeBron and Davis will start a new Lakers dynasty.

James is coming off of his fourth title and at age 35 last season, averaged 25.3 points, a league-high 10.2 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals while shooting at 49.3 percent from the field.

Meanwhile, Davis averaged 26.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game. He shot 50 percent from the floor, 33 percent from 3-point range, and a career-best 84.6 percent from the free-throw line last season.
