According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, free-agent point guard Quinn Cook has agreed to return to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Cook, who signed with Los Angeles as a free agent during the 2019 offseason after two years in Golden State, didn’t have a major role for the Lakers last season.
The 27-year-old averaged 5.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 44 regular-season games (11.5 MPG) and then logged only 24 total minutes during the team’s postseason run.
On November 19, 2020, the Lakers waived Cook.
