DeMarcus Cousins does not have a guaranteed spot in the roster of the Houston Rockets for the 2020/21 season.
As Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports, Cousins has agreed to join the Rockets on a non-guaranteed training camp contract.
“DeMarcus Cousins’ contract with the Houston Rockets is a non-guaranteed training camp contract. If Cousins makes the Rockets roster out of camp, his deal will convert to a standard non-guaranteed contract that will become fully guaranteed on 2/27/21,” Smith reports.
Cousins, who missed one and a half years due to injuries, returns to action for the first time since the 2019 NBA Finals.
