The late Kobe Bryant was once asked who would win a one-on-one game between him and LeBron James. It was back in 2010 before LeBron won any of his four NBA titles.

The Los Angeles Lakers, who was interviewed during his visit to London School of Basketball, was confident he would beat LeBron because he is more of a Magic Johnson type of player who excels in five-on-five whereas Kobe is a one-on-one player at his core.

“I win, I win. That’s what I know. One-on-one is … that’s easy. Playing one-on-one is how I grew up playing. It’s like my thing. LeBron is more like Magic Johnson. He’s a great passer, plays all around game. At the core of me I’m a one-on-one player. I’d do that in my sleep,” Bryant said.
