Magic Johnson took to Twitter and reacted to the Los Angeles Lakers re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Markieff Morris.

The Lakers and NBA legend was very happy about this development, as he believes both players were vital for the team’s success last season.

Johnson said Morris had a great three-point percentage and that helped open the floor for LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Concurrently, Johnson said Caldwell-Pope deserved the new, three-year deal with the Lakers, as he played excellent on both ends of the floor during the 2020 NBA Finals.

Magic Johnson has also noted the moves the Lakers have made in the offseason have placed them in the pole position for the repeat.
