Crvena Zvezda celebrated in Milan (79-87) and stopped a three-game losing streak by using opportunity against uncomplete Armani.

Ettore Mesina has a lot of problems this season with an incomplete roster. That was also the case in the match against Crvena Zvezda. Two players returned but one was out.

Last week Vladimir Micov played his first season game against Valencia. Against Crvena Zvezda, Kevin Punter played his first EuroLeague‘s game of the season and Malcolm Delaney returned after he didn’t play since Round 4. But, Luigi Datome was out against the squad from Belgrade.

Never the less, Crvena Zvezda outjumped the opponent. The guest had 32 rebounds (9 in the offense, 23 in the defense) against Armani‘s 22 (7 in the offense, 15 in the defense). Also, 53.3 longe-range shooting percentage had to be rewarded.

Jorda Loyd could finally become the MVP of the match. The excellent American guard had 17 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds (PIR of 24). He was followed by Corey Walden, who scored 15. Johnny O’Bryant stopped at 11 points.

For AX Armani Exchange Milan five players scored ten and more points. The one with the most points was Vladimir Micov with 13. Sergio Rodriguez and Zach Leday added 13 each, while both Kevin Punter and Michael Roll ended the match with 10.
