The Atlanta Hawks have been linked to several top free agents including the latest name on the list, Danilo Gallinari.

“I’ve heard they’re [the Hawks] going after Danilo Gallinari. I’ve heard they very well may be signing Gallinari as soon as free agency opens on Friday,” said Kevin O’Connor on The Ringer’s Instagram live stream.

Gallinari, 32, averaged 18.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Oklahoma City Thunder last season.

If he were to join the Hawks, he would be another key go-to scoring option alongside Trae Young and John Collins.

The Hawks also have interest in Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward, as he is still deciding whether to decline his $34.2 million player option.

A sign-and-trade for Hayward is reportedly an option, but the Hawks have the most cap space in the league at around $44 million and could simply sign him to a multi-year deal.

The Hawks will be active in trades and free agency in the near future.
