Deividas Sirvydis, the No. 37 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, reportedly plans to sign his first NBA contract with the Detroit Pistons.

He will participate in the team’s training camp that is set to begin on Dec. 1.

The 20-year-old, 6-foot-8, Lithuanian swingman is leaving Hapoel Jerusalem and going back to Lithuania where he’ll leave for the United States in a few days, according to Donatas Urbonas.

This seems like the ideal time for Sirvydis to join the Pistons, as the team is headed for a rebuild, so he could likely get the chance to play some valuable minutes.

Last season with Rytas Vilnius in Lithuania, Sirvydis averaged 6.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 three-pointers per game.
