The Orlando Magic shooting guard Evan Fournier remains with the team for the next season. The Frenchman reportedly picked up his $17 million option, according to Shams Charania.

Fournier remains in Orlando for his seventh consecutive season, after the Magic acquired him back in 2013. The eight-year veteran concluded one the best seasons of his career on the 2019-2020 shortened campaign.

He averaged 18.5 points, on 46% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc. He helped the Magic reach the playoffs for the second year in the row leading the team to the eighth seed.

The Magic were not able to get past the first round of the playoffs, as they got eliminated by the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks.
