The San Antonio Spurs are bringing back a fan favorite theme for their City Edition uniforms to be worn in the 2020-2021 NBA season.
“The new uniform features the team’s historic Fiesta colors in bold diagonal stripes of teal, pink, and orange on a black jersey top with “San Antonio” emblazoned across the chest in old school script, the first time the team’s hometown has been front and center on a jersey since 1989,” per the team.
The 2020-2021 season will be the first year that the Fiesta colors will make an appearance on game jerseys, as the colors were a trademark of the team’s game warmups from the 1989-1990 to 1996-1997 seasons.
