Anthony Davis may choose to opt-out of his $28.7 million player option on his contract for the 2020-21 season, but this doesn’t mean he is going to depart from Los Angeles.

In an interview with Yahoo Sports, the Lakers’ superstar revealed his plan to make many more NBA Finals with his team in the future.

“You see the work and preparation LeBron puts in every day, and you understand why this is his 10th NBA Finals appearance. He never stops. I plan to follow this motherf—-r to hopefully nine more Finals,” Davis told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “We’re all ready to go.”

Davis had his best playoff run of his career playing alongside LeBron James. He is going to get the first “taste” by participating in the NBA Finals for the first time in his career.

Davis put up 28.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game through 15 games in the postseason being the leading scorer for the Lakers.
