Dwight Howard opened up about his performance in Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets.

The big man of the Los Angeles Lakers finished the game with 13 points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks, helping his team earn the 114-126 victory in Game 1.

“That’s what I tried to do, just stay in the gym, stay focused and stay locked in,” Howard told Mike Trudell of Sportsnet.

The Lakers lead the series 1-0. Game 2 is on Sunday.
