NBA point guard Pablo Prigioni and forward Luis Scola highlight a 12-man Argentina squad for the FIBA World Cup that is missing Manu Ginobili and Carlos Delfino.
Franco Giorgetti and Nicolas Richotti were the last two cuts on the Argentine roster.
Coach Julio Lamas still has plenty of experience in his squad, despite him not having Ginobili and Delfino to call on. Along with Prigioni and Scola, Argentina have Real Madrid’s Andres Nocioni and Walter Herriman among the final team.
Facundo Campazzo and Leo Gurtierrez are the other veterans that will suit up in Spain in two weeks.
Argentina will be in Group B at the World Cup, alongside Greece, Croatia, Senegal, Puerto Rico and Philippines.
