Jamal Murray reacted to the Denver Nuggets’ big victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 (111-105).

Thanks to this win, the Nuggets remained alive in the Western Conference semifinals series. Denver came back from a 16-point deficit and earned the victory to force a Game 6.

For his part, Murray believes his team plays better when it faces adversity. “We play best when our back is against the wall,” Murray said after the game.

Nikola Jokic (22 points, 14 rebounds, five assists) and Murray (26 points, eight boards, seven assists) combined for 48 points for the winners. On the other hand, Kawhi Leonard had a game-high 36 points for the losing squad.

The Clippers lead the series 3-2. Game 6 is on Sunday.
