The Los Angeles Lakers took the lead in the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets by winning Game 3 112-102.
It was a close contest the entire game with Houston holding on a 3-point lead at halftime. But, it was the Lakers who came up on top in the second half.
Anthony Davis, who had 26 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists, attributed the Lakers’ success to an improved defense.
The Lakers superstar also praised Rajon Rondo, who had 21 points and 9 assists. Davis said Rondo and LeBron James are the two best IQ’s in the game.
“His IQ is on another level. We got the two best IQ guys in the game with him and LeBron on the floor at the same time,” AD said.
