Playoff Rondo was in full effect on Tuesday night. Rajon Rondo recorded his 1000th playoff-career assist, as he made crucial plays on both ends of the floor in the second half.
Rondo’s assist beneficiary was Alex Caruso, who made a three, after the Lakers’ point guard pass. Rondo finished the contest with nine assists.
The Lakers’ veteran went to score 19 points during Game 3 to help the Lakers overcome the Rockets in Game 3 and take a 2-1 lead in the series.
He shot 72% from the field and 60% from beyond the arc. He also came up big in the fourth quarter registering 12 points.
