Three-time NBA champion Draymond Green shared his thoughts on Nikola Jokic’s defense following the Nuggets 23-point loss to the Clippers in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals.
Green, who was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and was voted to the All-Defensive First Team three times through 2015–2017, thinks that Jokic is not putting the effort to defend.
“And it’s not much to do with his athleticism,” Green said after pointing out the plays where the Nuggets star didn’t assume his defensive duties.
