Indiana Pacers guard and upcoming free agent Justin Holiday, who played for the New York Knicks in 2016-17, is someone the new front office is hoping to sign this offseason. According to J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star, the Knicks “really want it”.

The rumor was tweeted on Friday with Michael indicating that Holiday had become “a little bit sour about something [sic] that went down” in Indiana, and, because of that, the 31-year-old guard doesn’t want to go back to the Pacers anymore.

However, Holiday refuted the part of the report by suggesting he wasn’t happy, by commenting on an Instagram post that aggregated the rumor.

Holiday earned $4.8 million last season on an one-year contract with the Pacers. He recently changed his agent to Bernie Lee, according to Yahoo, who also represents superstar and former teammate Jimmy Butler.

The Knicks will have approximately $50 million of roof space this offseason, depending on where the cap stops based on the coronavirus affecting the league’s revenues.
