Donovan Mitchell sent a strong message to those people who don’t like him speaking out.

The superstar of the Utah Jazz is one of the most outspoken players in the battle against systemic racism and racial injustice in the United States.

Mitchell said he will continue to use his platform for good and speak out on issues that matter.

“This is normal for us. This is everyday for us. I don’t think people quite understand that. I will continue to speak on important issues and if some people don’t like it, too bad,” Mitchell said, via Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.

Mitchell and the rest of the NBA players decided to boycott Wednesday’s and Thursday’s games in the wake of Jacob Blake’s shooting.

Blake was shot seven times in the back by police in Wisconsin over the weekend and is paralyzed from the waist down.
