Indiana Pacers Victor Oladipo was poked in the eye in the first half of Tuesday’s 113-101 playoff loss to the Miami Heat and didn’t return.

Oladipo went to the hospital as “his eye was very blurry and he really couldn’t see”, Pacers’ head coach Nate McMillan said, per Scott Agness.

Losing Oladipo will be a serious hit in the Indiana Pacers’ chances to be a playoff threat. “Dipo” played just 13 games in 2019-20 before the season was suspended, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and averaged 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists.

The two-time All-Star suffered a ruptured quad back in 2019 and was sidelined for almost a year, before returning in action last January.
