Euroleague champions Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv have been fairly active during this off-season, but after losing Ricky Hickman, they are now about to lose another star man.

MACCABI AND JAMES PART WAYS?

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv have decided to part ways with center Shawn James, as confirmed by the player on his Facebook page.

Despite James’ announcement, the club have still not made it official. James is not officially a free agent.

SHELLY STERLING WINS CASE; CAN SELL CLIPPERS

It wasn’t exactly a hard decision but Judge Michael Levanas has ruled in favour of Shelly Sterling on Monday, allowing the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers to go through.

Donald Sterling brought the lawsuit against the family trust in order to attempt to block the sale of the team for $2 billion to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

While it’s game over now for Donald Sterling in regards to owning the Clippers, he will still continue to sue the NBA, but only money will be at stake there.

SPURS WON’T LET GINOBILI PLAY AT THE WORLD CUP?

San Antonio Spurs have reportedly sent a letter to Manu Ginobili that says that they won’t allow him to play at this summer’s FIBA World Cup of Basketball.

San Antonio-based sports writer Buck Harvey broke the news via Twitter.

Although it’s unclear if he will play in next season’s Euroleague, Dinamo Sassari have either way signed Shane Lawal from Kazakhstan side Astana.

Lawal might possibly be used for domestic competition only.
