The Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is getting used to a different role with the team compared to last season. With the arrival of Anthony Davis, Kuzma became the third option for the Lakers. He is taking less shots and scoring less points – 12.6 PPG this season and 18.7 PPG last season.

The 25-year-old forward talked to the media about his situation on the team after the Lakers’ loss to the Rockets (97-113). Kuzma finished the game as a top scorer for the Purple and Gold with 21 points. He also grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists.

“I never judge my performances no more off of trying to score and having that certain amount of points, because that’s not my situation. That’s not the situation I’m in,” he said, per Kyle Goon. “The situation I’m in is trying to figure out my niche, and defending at a high level, and being a great teammate, and that’s what I can do.”
