Michael Porter Jr. has had consecutive excellent games in Orlando. He led the Denver Nuggets to victories in both games.

On Monday, he finished with 37 points and 12 rebounds against the Thunder. Today he finished with 30 points and 15 rebounds against the Spurs.

Porter slipped in the 2018 NBA Draft due to a back injury and the Nuggets selected him 14th overall. He missed all of last season because of that injury but is healthy now and showing why he was such a coveted prospect.

Porter came into today’s game averaging 8.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game despite only averaging 14.8 minutes per game. He has shot 42.2 percent on 3-pointers this season and 81.1 percent from the free throw line. He is 6’10 and can do a little bit of everything.

He can be a key contributor for Denver in the postseason and has the potential to become a star. His play since the season resumed is making lots of teams regret passing on him.
