Joel Embiid will play in the Philadelphia 76ers’ opener versus the Indiana Pacers, per Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey. Embiid missed the final two of the Sixers’ three scrimmages, with a right calf tightness.

The All-Star center from Cameroon averaged 23.4 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.3 blocks while playing in just 44 of the Sixers’ 65 games, prior to the NBA shutdown back in March.

On the other hand, back-up forward Glenn Robinson is doubtful for Saturday’s game, while Raul Neto is probable, according to Pompey.
