Today, the Clippers will take on the Lakers for their season restart in Orlando. Three important players will be absent for the Clippers. According to Mark Medina of USA Today, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley will miss the game.

Williams is currently undergoing a mandatory quarantine after visiting Magic City strip club while on leave to attend a funeral. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 18.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game coming off the bench.

Harrell is still attending a personal matter and is yet to return to Orlando. He is averaging 18.6 points and 7.1 rebounds being one of the top bench players in the league.

Meanwhile Beverley has returned to the campus after leaving it for a family emergency but is set to miss the game against the Lakers. The 32-year-old point guard is averaging 7.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

The first seeding game against the Lakers will be crucial for the Clippers’ hopes of overtaking their city rivals as the top team in the Western Conference. The Clippers are currently 5.5 games back behind the Lakers.

Before the lockdown, the two teams faced each other three times with the Clippers coming on top twice and the Lakers winning the most recent clash days before the season shutdown.
