CSKA Moscow announced that Howard Sant-Roos will not continue playing for the club. After one season with the Russian powerhouse, Sant-Roos is exiting CSKA due to the budget reduction that CSKA’s president, Andrey Vatutin, has announced.

Minutes after the announcement of CSKA, Panathinaikos expressed their interest in signing the player, per Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops. Sant-Roos, who has previously played in Greece for AEK Athens, might return to Athens, but this time for Panathinaikos.
