The New York Knicks will try to shake things up for the roster under new president Leon Rose. According to NY Post’s Marc Berman, Devin Booker is an emerging candidate, if he ever becomes available for trade.

The Phoenix Suns’ superstar could become disgruntled by the teams perennial losing, per Marc Berman:

“Booker, 23, made his first All-Star Game in February. Recent rumblings are Booker could get tired of the perennial losing in Phoenix, which is run by a spendthrift owner in Robert Sarver.

“I think he’ll do unbelievable,’’ Booker said of Rose. “One of the most genuine guys I know. One of the most honest guys I know. So I’m happy for him in his new position. I think the Knicks are in really good hands.’’

Booker was Rose client during his early years in the NBA along with another Kentucky product, Karl-Anthony Towns.

The young scoring guard has made great leaps every year being one of the most capable perimeter scorers in the NBA.

On the other hand, Phoenix is going to Orlando with a little chance to make an impact, being 5.5 games out of the 8th seed.

They had not made the playoff since 2009-2010 season being constanly in the lottery for the last decade.
