The Los Angeles Clippers took precautionary action and closed its practice facility after an undisclosed person on the team tested positive for COVID-19. The person was on the Clippers travelling party, which was supposed to travel to Orlando for the season resumption.

The Clippers, one of the top favorites to win it all in Orlando, are currently sitting in the second place in the Western Conference, behind the city rivals Lakers.

Both Los Angeles teams will face each other on July 31, as the season resumes.
