Reggie Miller scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 93-86 victory over the New York Knicks. The victory gave the Pacers a 3-2 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Miller outscored the Knicks 25-16 in the fourth quarter, as Indiana erased a 12-point deficit. He set a playoff record with five three-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 39 points.

Miller and Spike Lee had been trash talking all game and Miller taunted Lee throughout the fourth quarter. In fact, many Knicks fans blamed Lee for firing up Miller.

Despite Miller’s spectacular performance, New York won two consecutive games to win the series in seven games. The following season, Miller got his revenge, as he led the Pacers to a Game 7 victory in Madison Square Garden in the second round of the postseason.
