Magic Johnson led the Los Angeles Lakers to an NBA Finals victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. They won the game 123-107 on the road to win the series 4-2.

Johnson had one of the most dominant performances ever by a rookie. He finished with 42 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one blocked shot. He went 14-23 shooting and made all 14 of the free throws he took.

Jamaal Wilkes was also excellent for the Lakers. He posted 37 points and 10 rebounds.
