Recently, ESPN published the list of Top 75 Players of All-Time in which Steph Curry (#13) was ranked above Kevin Durant (#14). Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe shared his take on the rankings, by saying Curry deserves to be in front of his former teammate.

The reason for that is the impact that the Golden State Warriors superstar had on the game. Being arguably the best shooter of all time, Curry redefined the game, according to Sharpe. He pointed at the way the NBA used to be before the sharp-shooter entered the league and how it changed. Before Curry, teams were averaging 18 three-pointers per game and now this number increased to 34.

In addition to that, Sharpe mentioned the fact that Steph was the only unanimous MVP in the NBA as well as that he won a title for the Warriors before Durant arrived.

“Steph redefined the game. The year before Curry got into the league, teams averaged 18 3’s & now that’s 34. Curry won a title & was 73-9 before KD stepped foot in Golden State. He’s the only unanimous MVP. He deserves to be in front of KD in all-time rankings.”
