For the first time since March, after the season paused due to the coronavirus pandemic, FC Barcelona players got back to the court on Wednesday morning.
According to the club’s official social media accounts, the players trained individually following the necessary guidelines to minimize the health risks for themselves and their coaches.
Barcelona was tied with Real Madrid in second place of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings before the suspension of the 2019-20 season. The Spanish clubs stood at 22-6 behind leader Anadolu Efes sitting at 24-4.
The EuroLeague is considering resuming its 2019-20 campaign and several teams are trying to return to basketball form, if the season potentially returns.
