Several Utah Jazz players participated in voluntary, individual workouts at the team’s practice facility for the first time since league shutdown.

The workouts were in accordance with the Utah Department of Health and NBA regulations.

The Jazz are one of the first teams to open their practice facility doors along with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers.

“I think that we’re excited about the opportunities to bring our players back here safely,” said Vice President of Basketball Operations Dennis Lindsey. “Take the first small step towards returning to play whenever that happens.”

The Jazz strength staff had been conducting video workouts over the past two months.

The team also provided players with exercise bikes and some free weights to use at home.
