David Robinson, a member of the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball team, claims Isiah Thomas should not be surprised being left off the Dream Team.

The Hall of Famer center shared his opinion on the matter during the Bulls Talk podcast with Jason Goff:

“If you have a reputation and you take pride in your reputation as a ‘Bad Boy’ it kind of means people aren’t going to like you. Can you be that surprised when people say ‘I don’t really want to play with the ‘Bad Boys?’…

When you talk about putting together a team, chemistry matters. It does.”You can’t act like it doesn’t matter and for that team it was clear that was a consideration for all the people involved,” Robinson said per NBC Sports.

While the chemistry is important in the long haul, especially in team sports, the “Dream Team” was so talented that they could win, even if the members of the team hated each other considering that basketball in the US was much more advanced than the competition overseas.
