George Karl had a great coaching career through the 90s and 2000s having coached some incredibly talented players like Carmelo Anthony and Gary Payton.

Karl led the Seattle Supersonics to the 1996 NBA Finals along with Payton and Shawn Kemp. The veteran coach, who led the Nuggets to the 2009 Conference Finals, revealed what he was saying to great scorers during his coaching career.

According to George Karl’s, basketball is a team game for 46 minutes, the last two “are for the best players to win the game”, the experienced coach posted on his Twitter account. Karl was referring to the fact that Michael Jordan was keeping the ball from Bill Cartwright at the end of the games.
