Damian Lillard scored 50 points, including a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer, which lifted the Portland Trail Blazers to a 118-115 home victory in the game and 4-1 victory in the series.

Lillard took over late in Game 5 and helped Portland erase a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter. He scored with 32.8 seconds remaining to tie the game at 115.

After Russell Westbrook missed a shot for the Thunder, the Trail Blazers got the rebound and could hold the ball for the last shot of regulation.

With time running out, Lillard stepped to his right and buried the game-winning shot over Paul George from 37-feet out. The shot sent his teammates and the fans in Portland into a frenzy.

Lillard led the Trail Blazers to an upset victory over the Denver Nuggets in the next round before losing to the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.

Lillard averaged 26.9 points and 6.6 assists per game in 16 postseason games.
