Sheffield led from start to finish despite the visitors narrowing the gap in the third quarter to just four points. Sharks were hardly troubled, en route to the win.

Jeremie Simmons and Mike Tuck led the Sharks with 18 points each with Nick Lewis securing an impressive double-double of 16 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.

THE UNBEATEN RUNS END ON SATURDAY

Leicester Riders bounced back from their loss 24 hours before to end Sheffield Sharks’ unbeaten run in the joint lowest-scoring BBL game ever played.

Mike Allision led Durham with 22 points in a game where they looked to have the edge leading 69-52 going into the fourth quarter.

London hit back, and reduced the deficit to just two with over a minute remaining. The hosts though maintained their composure to get the win.

Adrian Sturt led the Lions with 18.
