The NBA and NBPA have agreed to indefinitely suspend all transactions including agreements, trades and player/team options.

The NBA has had a freeze on transactions for about a month due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The regular season was scheduled to end on April 15, which also would’ve been the last day for teams to sign free agents to their rosters or promote players on two-way contracts.

If the season is somehow able to resume at some point, there will more than likely be a window when transactions will be allowed again, so teams can prepare rosters for the postseason.

If the season is ultimately canceled, it’s not clear how the NBA would handle that lost window of time.
