Zalgiris Kaunas announced on Friday the addition of point guard Justin Dentmon for the upcoming season. Dentmon (1.83 meters, 28 years old) last played in Puerto Rico with Capitanes de Arecibo, where he averaged 14.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 16 games.

He had started the season in China and later went to the D-League playing for a couple ofteams before joining the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. Later he went to Puerto Rico.

Dentmon was named MVP of the D-League in the 2011-12 season, as he also won the championship. He played college ball in Washington from 2005 to 2009.

He made his pro debut in Israel with Hapoel Afula, and since then he has been alternating stints in the D-League with different teams and countries like Venezuela, Dominican Republic or even Italy, as he played three games with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in May of 2012.
