Panionios president Ilias Lianos, made clear yesterday that the 19 years old Forward Dimitris Agravanis is not for sale, forcing Olympiacos for another solution at this position.
Dimitris Agravanis had a solid season with Panionios, helping he team to conquer the third position in the Greek League, and he was part of the U-20 Greek team at the European Championship. His great appearances attracted the Reds and everyone believed that Agravanis will move to Piraeus.
But Ilias Lianos stated the following: “We asked Olympiacos 150.000 euro and they counter offered 125.000 so we accepted the offer as long as the player agreed. The deadline was until last night (Tuesday night), but Olympiacos never made contact in order to complete the deal. However we wanted to have a good co-operation with Olympiacos so we gave them extra time until today evening (Wednesday evening) but unfortunately they didn’t even bother answering us. So the issue comes into a conclusion and Agravanis stays in Nea Smyrni.”
