The Sacramento Kings rookie Kyle Guy experienced a family tragedy due to COVID-19, as his grandfather passed away.

Guy wants people to take the coronavirus and shelter-in home orders seriously in order to not get through what he and his family are experiencing. The Kings’ rookie and former NCAA champion in Virginia was selected late in the second round.

As a result, he played just two games in Sacramento, getting most of his time in G-League affiliate the Stockton Kings this season. He averaged 21.5 points a game shooting 40 percent from three, along with 4.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game in the NBA development league.
